Brits should register to vote by tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18) at 11.59pm to verify they will have their say on who will turn out to be the following prime minister, after Rishi Sunak referred to as the election final month.

On July 4, voters will go to the polls to cast their vote.

Who can register to vote and how do you do it?

In order to be able to make your opinion count at the ballot box, you have to be registered to vote with the UK Government and meet strict criteria in order to be given the right.
