A 42-year-old man whose fiancée’s physique was discovered dismembered in a bag on the fringe of San Francisco Bay was convicted of murder Monday.

A jury in Alameda County discovered Joseph C. Roberts responsible of second-degree homicide for killing his girlfriend, Rachel Elizabeth Imani Buckner, 27, and disposing of her physique alongside the shoreline final yr.

Roberts faces 15 years to life in jail, and is about to be sentenced on June 14, according to KTVU Fox 2.
