Re: “Boeing locks out firefighters after failed contract negotiations” [May 4, Local News]:
Critically? Boeing has chosen to lock out the very individuals who shield its amenities and are devoted to the protection of its workers. Regardless of Boeing’s claims of a dedication to high quality and a protected work setting, its actions don’t help this declare. The skin providers do not need the coaching or {qualifications} to maintain its workforce protected and they aren’t on web site, so the response time to an emergency is elevated.
Given all of Boeing’s points, it’s really disheartening to see that its actions clearly present it’s extra involved about saving a greenback than making certain the protection and well-being of its workers and the general public.
It’s time for Boeing to step it up. It’s really not in place to barter.
