Authorities have euthanized all 13 pit bulls that have been present in a Compton man’s yard, the place he was mauled to death last week.

The canines — 5 grownup pit bulls and eight puppies — have been all put down “as a consequence of proof linking them to the assault,” in response to an announcement from Don Belton, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Division of Animal Care and Management.
